Professional Background:
I currently serve as the Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs and as a Professor at the Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach. My studies include Tort Law, Nonprofit/Charitable Organizations, Tax Exemption and Insurance Law. I have also taught law at Marshall-Wythe School of Law and the College of William and Mary. Prior to teaching, I practiced law as an associate at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon and Mitchell C. Laird, P.C., both in Phoenix, Arizona. I am currently of counsel with the Law Firm of Davis Law Group, P.C.

Life Influences:
My wife, Carole, has been my rock and best friend ever since I first met her (in high school). She sustains me and our ever-growing family (six grandchildren and counting).

Favorite thing about my job:
I love helping people!

In my spare time:
I enjoy yard work and spending time with my six grandchildren.
